Like the Logos Mobile app, if you use a browser on a mobile device you can rotate the device for a wider window.
There are commands that are not available from the mobile app although some Mobile app commands do take advantage of the web app functions, such as the Atlas. These include the look which provides the same feel as the desktop. However, the are many advantages for this app in other features.
Logos web app full#
It is possible to enable full screen reading mode but it will only gain the removal of the command line at the top. This is the major advantage of the mobile app along with its ability to work without an Internet connection. The overhead from using a browser is clearly evident. The image on the right shows a difference in the amount of page you can read in the Logos Mobile app (on the left) versus this app (shown on the right) when reading a book.
Logos web app windows#
You can use the layout command to resize and arrange multiple windows in predefined arrangements. The books are always opened using 1/2 the width of the screen and you cannot resize them by dragging the edge.When reading a book the three lines at the top left of the page turns on and off the TOC and it also includes a Notes choice which is different than the desktop.Starting the app again will open those books. To save your page setup make a bookmark, or add in favorites (depending on the browser) Your last setup is saved automatically when you quit the app.(Different browsers may behave differently. To get back to where you were, click the back button. The cover image in info can be viewed to show a larger cover, usually about 200 x 300, by right clicking the image.The information column has only a Cover image, Title, Author, Description, Copyright, and Series.You will have to turn that off to view other items. The library view (using the store trick) is normally 1/2 screen but you can use the reading view to make it full width.The library has only one view as shown in the image.The library cannot be a separate screen.This will change as you type search items in. The number of books you own will appear at the end of the search line.The library filter only has Type, Subject, Author, Series, Publisher, and Language.The names of books in the library are also the original store names and are not changed if you change the book name in the desktop.You can also right click on the library button and select the panel option.Now you can tap the "Yours" in yours/store selection you will get a long list from your library. If you use a store command from the basket (store) icon it will open a store list much longer (as long as the browser page). The store option has been implemented like the desktop with store/yours choices.
Clicking it will take you to your open books.
Logos web app password#
You will need to provide your login name and password the first time you use a different browser.
The version 9 banner menu includes Factbook next to the Library icon. From the forum you can reach other places, Logos, Bible, Blog, Sermons, and Wiki. The sites include: Logos (or Verbum) site, Faithlife group and forums.
Logos web app download#
) allows you to go to other sites and even download a copy of Logos. It is also possible to have more than one open at the same time as independent tabs in the browser. There is also a web app called that is basically the same web app but targeted at Catholic users. This web app works with your database of books without having to download anything.
